The in-house designed and manufactured Coil Tilter /Upender is a small footprint upender for tilting coils of steel or any fabricated part from a vertical to a horizontal bore position enabling safe loading to an Uncoiler machine. It is mechanically driven and can be stopped with the load held at any point in the turning process. It has a round cradle type frame, made up of welded steel, i.e. placed on four machined rollers and a gear motor driving a chain sprocketprovides the ability to rotate. Sealed bearings help the rollers support the load. A brake motor and gear reducer drive a sprocket to give a smooth rotating cycle (Jerking or sudden speed changes could unbalance the load). The unit is wired to operate on your available power supply and comes complete with electronic controls and a safety disconnect switch and a push button station mounted on the unit. This machine is robust, easily maintained and reliable with high quality Indian-sourced componentry. Our 5 ton model isstandard and we can also manufacture to suit the tonnage required. Available in both electrically and hydraulically operated models.
